Mixed Ambrose tournament - Saturday
The next Ambrose tournament is on Saturday 27th February 2010 – shotgun start at 16:30 (4.30pm). These Ambrose tournaments have become very popular, therefore please get your names down as soon as possible and also pay early … to avoid “nagging” and for catering purposes too.
JUNIORS
We are trying to encourage all juniors to our Junior Saturday afternoon.
2pm start every Saturday. Instruction instead of playing (if needed), includes small bucket of range balls. Cost $10 (for instruction or playing). We are trying to encourage the juniors onto the golf course. Adults playing with juniors $15.
Any juniors, no matter where you are at with golf, you may join our programme – we will help you to get onto the golf course.
STABLEFORD COMPETITIONS
The summer stableford is being run over 8 weeks with 4 scores counting.
Weeks 1 to 3 have passed, the balance of the competition is being run over the following weeks:
Week 4 – Saturday 13 February 2010
Week 5 – Saturday 20 February 2010
Week 6 – Saturday 6 March 2010
Week 7 – Saturday 13 March 2010
Week 8 – Saturday 20 March 2010
VERY IMPORTANT
All participants need to book a tee time by Thursday afternoon, pay the entry fee $5 before the tournament (or by arrangement)and print a scorecard before the tournament.
Organised tee times are between 8.00 and 9.30 from the front nine
(this enables us to manage the course and have a clear field for the 18 hole handicap players who are turning on the back 9.) If you would like to tee off outside of these times and you have a marker, please ring the office to put your names down and pay and get a card printed well in advance.
